Who we are
toPSD (topsd.app) is a website that converts Procreate files to PSD and PNG in your browser. In this policy, “we” means the team that runs toPSD, based in India. Contact: hello@topsd.app.
Your files
Your .procreate files, and the PSD, PNG, ZIP and video files made from them, stay on your device. The conversion code runs in your browser. We have no upload feature and no server that receives artwork, so we cannot see, store, share or train anything on your art.
If you don’t sign in
You can view files and download the flat PNG and the time-lapse without an account. We don’t store anything about you in that case, apart from the anonymous analytics and the server logs described below.
If you sign in
You sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email. There are no passwords. We store:
- Your email address. With Google sign-in, Google also shares your name and profile picture. We store your email address, your name if Google provides it, and Google’s account ID so you can sign in again. We don’t store your profile picture.
- Your credits, your free PSD, and whether you have Unlimited.
- Your purchases: the product, the price, the date and Dodo’s payment ID. Never your card details.
- Your conversion history: the file name, the date, the number of layers and which export you made. Never the artwork itself.
- Whether you ticked the box for occasional product updates. It is unticked unless you tick it.
We use this to give you your credits on any browser, to show your past conversions, to process refunds, and to stop the free PSD being claimed many times.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the account to work, so there is no cookie banner. The cookie is called __Host-topsd_session and lasts 60 days, or until you sign out.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites. It records things like the page, the referring site, the country, the browser and how fast the page loaded.
Hosting and logs
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Our sign-in and credits service runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database.
Payments
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record. When you buy, you pay Dodo directly. Dodo collects your name, email, billing address and payment details to process the payment, handle tax and send your receipt, under its own privacy policy. Dodo tells us the payment ID, the product, the amount and your email so we can add the credit to your account.
Sign-in emails
Sign-in links are sent by an email service provider. We use Resend for this. The provider processes your email address only to deliver the message.
Emails we send
Only sign-in links, and messages about your purchases or your account. Product updates go only to people who ticked the box, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep data
Account data stays until you delete it or your account. Server logs at Cloudflare are kept for a short period set by Cloudflare. Records of purchases may be kept longer where tax law requires, by us and by Dodo. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and are deleted within a day. Sessions end after 60 days. Purchase records are kept for 8 years for tax reasons. To stop the free PSD from being claimed again, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your email address after you delete your account. It can’t be turned back into your address.
Deleting your data
On the account page you can delete your conversion history, or delete your whole account in one click. Deleting the account removes your email, credits and history from our database. You can also email hello@topsd.app to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it.
Children
toPSD is not aimed at children under 13. You need to be at least 13 to create an account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you have an account, we’ll email you.
